Özet (EN)
The aim of our study was to early diagnosis of preeclampsia and measure the formation, to protect from disease to measure of the levels of 8- Hydroxy-guanosine to determine the effect on the development of the disease, if possible, to develop measure to prevent the preeclampsia. The patients admitted to Department of Obstetric and Gynecology, Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine, between June 2013-June 2014, 25 to 41 weeks gestation, 22 severe preeclampsia, 18 mild preeclampsia and 40 healthy pregnant women were included in the study. Groups were compared in that demographic variables of age, blood pressure, gestational age, fetal birth weight, laboratory parameters, body mass index (BMI) and the levels of 8-Hidroksi-2- Deoksiguanozin. The levels of 8-Hidroksi-2- Deoksiguanozin were measured by ELISA.In statistical evaluation ofdata were performed Mann Whitney-U test and Student t test. P value <0.05 was accepted as significant. Mild-to-severe preeclamptic group and the control group compared to 8-OH-dG levels, there was no statistically significant difference between groups (p = 0.208). Hg, platelet count, white blood cell, age and BMI were no significant differences between levels. The incidence of mild and severe preeclampsia in nulliparous pregnant women was higher (p = 0.013). 8 HDOG values in the mild preeclampsia group was positively correlated with age and TIT is a moderate correlation (age, r = 0.414, p = 0.087, TIT = r = 0.426, p = 0.078). 8 HDOG values in the group with severe preeclampsia between creatine moderate positive correlation (r = 0.450, p = 0.036). This is the first study that evaluating the role and place of serum levels of 8- OH-dG in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia. Results of our study have shown that in the prediction of preeclampsia, 8-OH-dG can not be useful in routine. However, using other samples(for example; urine), new and larger studies would be appropriate. Keywords: Severe Preeclampsia, Mild Preeclampsia, 8-Hidroksi-2- Deoksiguanozin, Oxidative Stress.
