Analysi̇s on the story of Si̇nan Bey and Mahperi̇ whi̇ch was edi̇ted by Prof. Dr. Ensar Aslan i̇n 1971

Folk stories, which can be in Turkish literature since 16th century are one of the most important parts of story telling in Turkish Literature. Folk stories which can fulfil the need of novel and have both verse and prose structure one parts of literaturethat reflect the public life in historical, social andtraditional ways. With these aspects folk stories are like an encyclopedia that has the curturel valves. East Anatolia Region attrucks attention with the bard and their culturethat has happened around. Folk poet has given performances in houses in villages, weddings and Turkish cafes. Âşık Mevlüt İhsani is one of the bard who raised in Eastern Anatolia. Âşık Mevlüt İhsani who was the Turkish Republic performer has been a seccessful performer with the folk story culture. This study is based on the story of Sinan Bey and Mahperi which was completed with tehe story telling of Âşık Mevlüt İhsani by Ensar Aslan who is the lectuner in Atatürk University in 1971. On this study, variant of Fikret Türkmen/Mustafa Cemiloğlu and Işıl Altun are researched but as a main text Ansar Aslan study is analyzed. Information about performans life, poems and stories are given according to the records. Sian Bey and Mahperi is analyzed by epizode, poem and basic elements.
