Abstract (EN)

is known that the testosterone hormone that the fetus is exposed to during the initial period plays an important role in the developmental differentiation of the brain. The ratio of second and fourth finger lengths (2D:4D) is an indirect method used to elicit prenatal testosterone screening. A low 2D:4D ratio indicates high prenatal testosterone cell exposure. Many studies in the literature show that there is a relationship between 2D:4D finger ratio and sports performances. Most of these studies have focused on areas such as struggle, motivation, risk taking and maximal oxygen consumption. No research has been found on the orientation with the 2D:4D finger ratio on balance control and proprioception, which play an important role in all other sports. examine the relationship between control. In our research, it is planned to work with 40 healthy male volunteer students between the ages of 20-26 who do not engage in active sports. Volunteers' hands will be scanned with a scanner to determine their 2D:4D preferences, followed by fixed balance, dynamic balance and proprioception testing.
