The study of using data mining approaches in the process improvement field

The improvement in the soft technology provides the companies with the storage of many data and when necessary, data can be transformed into significant information. In the process of transforming the existing data into information, the process can be analized with the help of data mining techniques. The results obtained from the data mining can be used as an input for a company which focuses on the customer.In this thesis, six sigma metodology and its techniques which aim the continuous improvement of the companies to develop are examined in details. The stages in DMAIC which is used as a six sigma road map are researched in details. Especially it is purposed to use from data mining techniques during the processes which are collection of data, measurement of data and analyze of data. As a final, at the end of this thesis the researches made up till now are examined.
