ABSTRACTPhD ThesisRULED SURFACES IN THE PSEUDO - GALILEAN SPACEğ ˙şAlper Osman ÖGRENMISFırat UniversityGraduate School of Science and TechnologyDepartment of Mathematics2007, Page:76This thesis consists of six chapters. In the first chapter, the aim and content of the thesis are explained. In the second chapter some fundamental definitions and theorems are givenwhich will be used in the later chapters. In the third chapter, the characterization of an admissible curve which isn?tlight-like in pseudo - Galilean 3-space is given. Furthermore the differentialequation which express the mentioned characterization is solved. The explicitcharacterization of spherical curve is obtained 3-dimensional pseudo - Galileanspace. In the fourth chapter, Ruled surfaces types are given in 3-dimensional pseudo-Galilean space. The theorem related to cylindrical Ruled surfaces is proved. In the fifth chapter, examples of Ruled surfaces are given. In the sixth chapter, conclusions and suggestions are given.Key Words: Galilean Space, Pseudo - Galilean Space, Ruled Surface,Spherical Curves, Osculating Sphere.
