ABSTRACTPhD ThesisRULED SURFACES IN THE PSEUDO - GALILEAN SPACEğ ËşAlper Osman ÖGRENMISFırat UniversityGraduate School of Science and TechnologyDepartment of Mathematics2007, Page:76This thesis consists of six chapters. In the ï¬rst chapter, the aim and content of the thesis are explained. In the second chapter some fundamental deï¬nitions and theorems are givenwhich will be used in the later chapters. In the third chapter, the characterization of an admissible curve which isn?tlight-like in pseudo - Galilean 3-space is given. Furthermore the diï¬erentialequation which express the mentioned characterization is solved. The explicitcharacterization of spherical curve is obtained 3-dimensional pseudo - Galileanspace. In the fourth chapter, Ruled surfaces types are given in 3-dimensional pseudo-Galilean space. The theorem related to cylindrical Ruled surfaces is proved. In the ï¬fth chapter, examples of Ruled surfaces are given. In the sixth chapter, conclusions and suggestions are given.Key Words: Galilean Space, Pseudo - Galilean Space, Ruled Surface,Spherical Curves, Osculating Sphere.
