Özet (EN)

The aim of the study was to determine the morphometric and macroanatomical development of the ovary and uterus in rats according to the pre-and post-pubertal periods. İn addition, the uterine tube and vagina were also examined morphometrically. For this purpose, rats that had completed 30 days of development fort the pre-pubertal period, 60 days of development fort the pubertal period, and 90 days of development fort he post-pubertal period were used. The number of rats used in each group was determined to be at least 6. After the rats were euthanized , their biometric findings were taken and kept in formaldehyde for one day.the genital argans of the rats detected in formaldehyde were dissected and macroanatomical findings were obtained. After the genital organs were photographed appropriately, they were transferred to the ımage j program and a total of 12 morphometric measurements were made. As a result of the study, it was observed that the ovaries were located in the regio lumbalis and shifted from the caudal to the more cranial of the regio lumbalis from before to the endof the ovary. The uterus was determined to be duplex. It was observed that the right cornu uteri was longer than the left cornu uteri. This difference was statistically significant between the 30- and 60-day groups (P<0.05). there were longitudinal mucosal folds in the vaginal mucosa. It was determined that the measured parameters showed statistically significant differences between the groups. Accordingly, the parameters of right and left ovary diameter right and left ovary length, right and left cornu uteri length and cervix uteri length parameters were determined to be statistically significant between the groups (P<0.05). ıt is thought that the results obtained from the study will enable the comparison of pathological and normal structures in studies on the genital system in female rats and will contribute to developmental anatomy data regarding the female genital system.
