Abstract (EN)

Hospitals that are health service providers must use health services efficiently and efficiently with minimum cost to ensure their sustainability without sacrificing quality. Effective and efficient use of resources is possible through cost analysis studies. The cost analysis work to be done will be beneficial for both the hospitals and the Social Security Institution. Social Security Institution has received many diseases within the scope of package price application for facilitating frequent diseases and reimbursement transactions. One of these diseases is Appendektomi. In this research, Appendectomy and Appendectomy between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 in a university hospital were investigated and the cost analysis of these operations was performed by examining the invoices of patients who had Appendectomy Laparoscopic surgery. 203 patients were included in the study's universe, and a second operation was performed without coding patients and 143 patients were evaluated. As a result of the cost analysis study, it has been determined that the salaries paid by the Social Security Institution are far below the production costs of hospitals, which are service providers, and the hospital is harmed.
