Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research was to examine prolidase's function in males with acute renal injury (AKD). Over the course of this trial, 136 male participants (60 healthy controls and 76 AKD patients) were included. Both the control and patient groups were made to be as similar in age and BMI as feasible. All of the males participated had their serum tested for prolidase, total oxidant status (TOS), urea, creatinine, vitamin D, and albumin levels and their blood tested for hemoglobin (Hb) level and ALT and AST activities. Serum prolidase, TOS, urea, and creatinine levels in males with RFD were considerably higher than in controls. In contrast, blood vitamin D and albumin levels in males with RFD were considerably lower than in controls. Hemoglobin (Hb) levels were substantially lower, but alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) liver enzyme activity was significantly greater in men with RFD compared to controls.
