A research on the theatre plays of Reşat Nuri Guntekin

"A Research On The Theatre Plays Of Reşat Nuri Güntekin" aims to examine the author's life story, understanding of art and theaters. Of three chapters, the development process of the theater until Resat Nuri Guntekin is discussed in chronological order. In the second part, some information about the author 's life, his literary personality, his acquaintance with literature, his thoughts and works on theater, theater plays and artists are given. The reflection of the turning points of his life on his works, the importance of the theater in his life, his contribution and criticism to the performing arts, the changes and developments in the understanding of art were conveyed. In the third chapter, the plays of the author are examined under six main titles. Under the title Presentation of the Games, information about how the study emerged and its publication was given. Most of the works which were not printed with the new Turkish alphabet were found and examined in Ottoman Turkish texts. Under the title of "The Plot", conflicts and main knots are emphasized. The "Game People" were examined in terms of their functions and types and grouped within themselves. In the "Time", "Space" and "Decor" sections, each play is handled separately and evaluated in a thematic context. In the conclusion section, the findings obtained from the study are presented.
