Examining the relationship between painting-grafts education students digital citizenship levels and their attitudes towards digital technology

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between digital citizenship levels (DCL) and attıtudes towards digital technology (ATDT) of painting- crafts education students. Research is a descriptive research type, relational survey model. 322 students participated in this research. These students consist of 131 male and 191 female students studuying in department of painting- crafts education of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Atatürk University, RepublicUniversity and Black Sea Technical University. Personal information form, attıtude towards digital technology (ATDTS) and digital citizenship scale (DCS) werw used as data collection tools. In writing this thesis; Windows Microsoft Word program was used for editing data and creating graphics, Microsoft Excell Spread sheet program was used primarily for entering and editing data, and SPSS 22 statistical package program was used for data evaluating and statistical test. According to the answer of research questions, with descriptive statistical methods such as mean standart deviation, participans university, gender, class, income statüs, how many year of internet use, internet use skills and how many hours of internet use perday werw determined. And T test and ANOVA test were applied and Tukey analysis test applied for the significance of the groups among themselves ( data were evaluated at p< ,05 the level of significance and 95% within the confidence interval ) Finally, when we look at the correlatıon between the citizenship levels of the paricipants and their attıtudes towards digital technology, it was found to be mode rately sinificant (p<,05).
