Abstract (EN)

This study aimed to examine the lifelong learning tendencies of the students in visual arts education programs in terms of various variables.Screening method is used in the research. The research was conducted on 307 students attending the first, second, third and fourth grades of Dicle University, Harran University and İnönü University in 2017-2018 academic year. A data collection tool consisting of two parts was used in the research.The first part of the data collection tool includes Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher and in the second part the Lifelong Learning Tendency Scale developed by Coşkun (2009) was employed. The results of the study showed that the lifelong learning tendencies of the students in the visual arts education programs were high. It was determined that the lifelong learning tendencies of the students showed a significant difference in terms of gender, academic achievement, the way they preferred the program they were studying and willingness for a master's degree; however, it has been determined that there is no difference in terms of university, class level, socioeconomic status and educational status of the parents.
