In romantic German songs place of Gustav Mahler

In this study, the art of romantic german lied (song) and its reviewing on historical basis in three stages,in addition the romantic german composers?s lives and their contributions to lied art are discussed. In this scope Mahler?s life, his way of conducting an orchestra, the text version of poems that he used,their general tianslations and the technical analysis of two lieds of Mahler?s are reviewed.Mahler apart,one of the lied composers from that period such as Mendelssohn has considerably very clear and natural tunes.There fore,,he provided the way of spread all over Europe for the productions of Schubert, Schumann and Brahms.With remarkable contibutions of Schubert and schumann?s to lied (song); the form of songs has become more free and comprehensible. On the other hand it?sobserved the in fluence of Schumann?s unbalanced mood on Hugo Wolf?slieds in a distürbing and scory way with tensions and sighs. At the some time the lieds of Wolf,whose productions are noticed vocally,are cconsidered as the best creations ofthat extraordinaryperiod of german lieds which started in mid 1700?s.Although Brahms who is important composer of that period thought that classical songs had lost mony things with Romantism; he embraced Neo Classical perception. None of the classical period?s impressive composers could not reach to the intensity of emotional depth. For, instance Mahler used the form of sonat in his productions,in addition the variations of some themes from folk songs, children songs, opera and operet peces preconceived in subconscious.However esence and origin of the tune are remained firm(the some). As a result, the music of Mahler is not being comprehended for a very long period of time.
