Romantik ilişkilerde çatışma çözümünün açıklanmasında benlik saygısının, bağlanma stillerinin ve köken aile işlevlerinin yordayıcı rolü

The primary objective of this research is to explore the predictive role of self-esteem, attachment styles, and origin family functions in explaining conflict resolution in romantic relationships. 265 adult individuals are administered using Demographic Information Form, Conflict Resolution Styles Scale (CRSS), Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised (ECR-R), and Family Assessment Device (FAD). Correlational research method is used in order to examine relationship among study variables and demographic variables. Multiple Regression analysis, Independent T-Test analysis, and One-Way ANOVA analysis methods are carried out within the aim of answering the research questions. According to the results, the predictive role of attachment styles and origin family functions on conflict resolution in romantic relationships is found. Significant differences are found between the variables and gender, marital status, relationship duration, educational status, socio-economic status, and age of the participants. However, self-esteem was not found to have a predictive role on conflict resolution in romantic relationships. Limitations and the findings of the present study are discussed with regard to related literature; and theoretical implications and applications of the findings and suggestions for future research are presented.
