Rukneddin el-Cürcânî and his work named el-Işârât ve't-Tenbîhât (Muqaddimah and Me'ânî sections)

This study, which is about Rukneddin Muhammed el-Cürcânî and his work named el-İşârât ve't-tenbîhât, consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction section, information is given about the subject, purpose, scope, method and sources of the research. In the first part, Cürcani's life and the religious, political and cultural environment of the period in which he lived are discussed. In this section, the general features of his work called el-İşârât ve't-tenbîhât, which is also the subject of the study, are emphasized, such as the reason for copyright, content, style and method. In the second part, Cürcânî's views, sources and contributions on the science of eloquence, eloquence and meaning, which are considered the introduction of the science of rhetoric, were examined. In the third chapter, Cürcani's criticisms, arguments and suggestions to previous rhetoric scholars regarding these three branches of rhetoric are analyzed. In this analysis, the views criticized by Cürcani and his own views were evaluated comparatively. In the conclusion section, the findings of the study are summarized and presented.
