Applicability of SA 8000 and ISO 26000 business ethics standards in Turkey

Today's environmental problems and human rights violations in the business world have led to a questioning of purchasing behavior for consumers. This situation has made the ethical issue, a dimension of corporate image, a new and irrevocable variable for the global competition equation. The SA 8000 and ISO 26000 Standards are important to form a system of measurable value and the ability to develop a strategic perspective on corporate social responsibility. In the scope of this work, the current situation regarding the applicability of social responsibility standards in Turkey are discussed in conceptual themes.
