Nowadays, representation of women and their activeness on media has been a debatable issue both in Turkey and the rest of the world. The way women take a role on TV has been far away from being beneficial for giving positive effects on cultural and political areas or influencing the status and the strength of women. More over, it is a fact that women on TV has been recognised them as a consumer which led women to be seen on TV as a part of consumerism. In this context, based on indisputable power of media, this study aims to understand how women body is being used as a tool to provide discipline by TV shows and health authorities. In this study, the way of politics that has been ran through women body, and their effects on capital system which benefits on sex inequality that has been shown by medical TV shows are considered. Concordantly, this study looks for a deeper research to answer the question of how women body is being located in cosmetic and medical sectors. The discourse analysis which is one of the types of quantitative researches is done, focusing on morning shows on TV and their daily topics about women and health. The shows that are used are the programs that has the most viewer capacity under the tag of ' women shows ' during mornings. The number of shows on this research is restricted to ones that hosts medical experts and the ones that combines women and health in single pot. Currently running programs or their related parts such as ' Doktor Geldi ' , ' İşimiz Estetik ', Zahide Yetiş ile ' and ' Kendine İyi Bak ' are analysed by discourse analysis. As a result of these analysis, it has been seen that by those programs that mentioned above helps to increase sex inequality on modern women by using their medical experts and not being snapped from traditional way of society. It is a fact that the academic studies that focuses on women and their issues about freedom in society, helps them to increase their awareness. The study also includes topics which force women to strengthen their capabilities both on qualitative and quantitative fields of life as they should in media.
