İsti̇dlâl accordi̇ng to Shafi̇i methodologists

The thesis addresses the the views of the famous Shafîi? methodologists of the 5th age (after hijrah), which is considered as being the most fruitful age of the history of methodology, and the following periods regarding the evidence of ?İstidlâl? (the submission of evidences) named as the fifth evidence by Shafii? scholars after the ?four evidences?. The views of the methodologists of these periods regarding the meaning of the term ?İstidlâl?, the evidences taken into consideration which from the basis of ?İstidlâl?, the disputes rising among them about ?İstidlâl? and the examples on this issue are being presented.The study contains three sections in addition to foreword and introduction.In the introduction part, some information is given about some of the major Shafii? methodologists of the 5th age (a.h.).In the first section, the definition and nature of the ?istidlal? has been addressed.In the second section, the views on the evidence of ?istidlal? are discussed.In the third section the parts of ?istidlal? have been addressed.At the end of this section, the ecclesiastic evidences mentioned as evidences being related with ?İstidlâl? by the post-5th age (a.h.) methodologists are addressed briefly.
