Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of healthcare professionals' perceptions of organizational communication climate on life satisfaction and to reveal the moderating role of professional tenure in this relationship. In the study conducted within the framework of the relational screening model by adopting the quantitative research method, organizational communication climate was considered as the independent variable, life satisfaction as the dependent variable and professional tenure as the moderating variable. The universe of the study consists of healthcare professionals working in Diyarbakır province and the sample consists of 459 healthcare professionals. Data were collected through a survey using the demographic information form, Organizational Communication Climate Scale and Life Satisfaction Scale. SPSS 25.0 program and PROCESS macro add-on developed by Hayes were used in the analysis of the data. Descriptive characteristics were determined through frequency and descriptive statistics, and normality assumption was tested through skewness and kurtosis values. The reliability levels of the scales were evaluated with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Independent sample t-test was applied in comparisons between two groups, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was applied in comparisons of three or more groups. Relationships between variables were examined with Pearson correlation analysis, and the moderating effect was analyzed through PROCESS macro Model 1. According to the findings, a significant and positive relationship was found between organizational communication climate and life satisfaction. In addition, it was revealed that professional tenure played a moderating role on this relationship and the effect of organizational communication climate on life satisfaction was more pronounced especially in individuals with 12 years and more experience.
