Measurement of computer education level in health staff.(Aydin Obstetric and Gynocology and Child Hospital-Bozdoğan State Hospital tample)

ABSTRACT In this study, a survey has been carried out about Level of Computer Literacy for Health stuff. The aim of the study is to determine the level of health care workers' computer literacy and put forward suggestions needed. Therefore, Aydın Maternity and Children Hospital and Bozdoğan Rasim Menteşe Hospital have been selected because of the convenient to staff in diversity and representetive of the extensively studied. 215 workers of 258, working in these hospitals that constitutes the universe of research have been reached, surveys have been conducted and the results have been transferred to the relevant tables. Surveys have been interpreted by transferring to SPSS 16.0 program.While the results were interpreting, percentage, periodicity and average have been used as well as, to determine whether the difference among groups, independent groups t-test, one-way variance analysis and Welch, Brown-Forsythe Test and Scheffe and Tukey Test to test the difference between which groups. In the study it has been observed that male participants with regard to female ones, under 30 ages participants with regard to at the age of 41 and over, single participants with regard to married ones, expert doctors with regard to other degrees, healt employees working 5 years and under with regard to working ones 26 years and over have higher points on computer literacy. Besides, in the research it is also observed that the more level of education increases the higher points are taken and according to the monthly salary variable those who have over 4000 TL income took higher average points on computer literacy. In this context, the estimated results and evaluations support the hypothesis. Keywords : Computer Literacy, Computer Operator, Computer Terms, Programming
