Abstract (EN)

In this study, activity based performance management, an approach that has been proved to be an improvement over the conventional corporate performance management system in healthcare is introduced. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the literature on business environment and health care environment by exploring the perceptions of medical experts.The study is conducted via ?Investigation of Perceptions About Activity Based Performance Management on Healthcare Survey? to the medical experts of 7 different 3rd Degree Health Care Corporations in Ankara. Results show that activity based performance management systems could improve efficiency and productivity of performance management systems by linking strategy with health care operations.As a result, activity based performance management is a primary key for aligning individual strategies, promoting organizational learning, making strategy to everyone?s job in health care organizations, and inclusion of different stakeholders to performance management decison processes.
