The success of the management approach and practices of the institutions affect the overall success of the institution. The understanding of management and the necessity of developing strategic management as one of the important management practices today contribute to the long-term decisions of institutions. Strategic management surrounds the practices that have an effective place in getting more constructive results in the activities of the institutions. In another aspect, both strategic management and innovation are used to ensure the success of the activities in the institutions. In addition, it is thought that conducting innovation studies may be related, as it provides a prominent effect in their innovative work. In this context, the basis of the relationship established between strategic management and innovation is effective in the case that strategic management is necessary for the effective performance of institutions in general and it is also supported by innovation. Here, especially its contribution to innovation can be explained in relation to the practices that will increase the satisfaction levels of employees of strategic management in decision-making processes. In terms of health institutions, this issue has a more important place. Health institutions, which are different from other institutions due to the difficulties experienced in maintaining the chaotic and orderliness, have developments that show that strategic management is mandatory. In addition, innovation studies should be carried out for both employees and patient management. Within the scope of this research, questions were asked to employees in health institutions in order to determine whether there is a relationship between strategic management and innovation. Accordingly, in line with the findings obtained, it has been shown that there is a relationship between both innovation and strategic management as factors such as age, working time, educational status, gender, working time in the institution. It is mentioned that strategic management practices are an effective factor in the realization of innovation studies. Accordingly, within the framework of studies and activities, strategic management is handled with its qualities that shape innovation activities and make an important contribution to the institution, along with innovation studies that will increase employee satisfaction. For example, when a process based on the priorities of the employees depending on the marital status is managed, the continuity of the employees also increases. The basis of the relationship between the quality and potential of innovation studies is also addressed based on this. Studies and practices that are positively related to an organization's strategic management approach have details that can create an effective result in institutions where chaotic environments such as health institutions are high and work intensity is high. In general, it has been determined that there is a connection between strategic management and innovation.
