Investigation of the preparations of health structures for epidemic situations: The case of Adana City Training and Research Hospital

The study was carried out by applying a questionnaire to the health workers working in the Adana City Training and Research Hospital Emergency Service, which is a campus hospital example, and analyzing the responses of the emergency service to the pandemic process, in order to improve the preparations of health structures for epidemic disease processes. Questionnaire and evaluation forms are used in the study; quality and accreditation standard guides, which also have the function of regulating/improving health services and structures, epidemic process management and infection prevention guides, and scientific studies were created by examining spatial standards and requirements. In this context, it is anticipated that the information and/or evidence obtained from the data collected in the emergency department will contribute to improving the design of health facilities.
