Property of Sahaba (Companions)

The attitude of Muslims to the economy, the concepts of wealth and poverty has always been a subject of discussion. In order to conclude the discussions on these concepts, which are the fundamentalof daily life, the approaches in the period when these concepts came to life should be examined. Most of the researches and thoughts on the attitude of the Sahabah to property or material wealth are shaped by the examples experienced due to poverty in the first periods after the Hijrah. In this study, it has been tried to determine all the quantitative and qualitative data about the assets of the Sahabah, and thus to catch an overview of the economic situation of the Sahabah. Those who stood out among the Sahabah with their slaves, luxury preferences, movable and immovable assets, social positions, generosity, etc. Were classified and important inferences were made about the Sahabah and the period through their quality of life and preferences. In addition, it was tried to establish what kind of reflections the increasing wealth and growth after the conquests had on the lives of the sahabah.
