Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to analyze the life and storytelling of Şahap Sıtkı İlter, who wrote works in many literary genres. With this review, the author's stories in his books and various magazines were uncover and examined. Şahap Sıtkı İlter, who was intensely engaged in literary activities between 1937 and 1970, wrote works in the genres of poetry, novels, stories, essays, criticism, translations and interviews. The author has story books named Çırılçıplak (1957), Bulut Gelen Pare Pare (1958), Gülen Ayva Ağlayan Nar (1959), February Night (1964) and Acı (1970), as well as Çağrı, Seçilmiş Hikâyeler, Varlık, Yaratış, Yeditepe and He also wrote stories and various types of articles in Innovation magazines. Furthermore, Seçilmiş Hikâyeler magazine collected eight stories of the author and published a special "Şahap Sıtkı İlter Issue". In our study, we focused on examining the artist's life, literary personality and stories, excluding works other than the story genre. In our study, Şahap Sıtkı İlter's stories in his books and magazines were analyzed in the light of scientific methods. In these analyses, although the analysis methods in Şerif Aktaş's work titled Analysis of Literary Texts Based on Narration were used as the main method, different academic sources were also used.
