Abstract (EN)
In the Ottoman Empire, educational institutions started with primary schools and madrasahs, and education increased as the state's possibilities increased. Ulema also participated in the deterioration that occurred in many areas and unfortunately that bright period is over. Although measures have been taken to overcome this situation and education has been started with modern methods, economic impossibilities and the state of war have left these innovations fruitless. Although the province of Kosovo is far from the center of the state, many educational institutions were opened in Kosovo immediately after Istanbul. II. During the reign of Abdulhamid, many new schools were opened and new schools were opened, and more than one nation lived together, the state cared about the education of all sectors. These schools continued education until the disposal of the Balkans in 1912. Keywords: Province of Kosovo, Salname, Education
