Abstract (EN)
Shamanism is a way of life. It is a way of communicating with nature and creation. Shamanism is a human legacy that is deeply rooted in our oldest beliefs and practices. It can also be called the spiritual wisdom inherent in all indigenous tribes. The word shaman comes from the Tungus tribe living in Siberia. Shamans communicate with their ancestors who lived in the past and get information from them. Shamans have many common features; such as contact with the spirit world, herbal remedies, rituals, and divinations. They have certain items that they use in the rituals they perform. The most important of these are the special clothes they wear and the drums. These clothes and drums vary according to the experiences of the shamans. The monotonous sounds of the drum play a role in their spiritual journey. Shaman clothing is called maniac. The maniac consists only of the coat they wear over them, and there are many details on it. Leather pieces, metals and the different motifs they embroidered on them have many meanings. Apart from the maniac, there are iron gloves they use, boots made of animal skins, and headdresses made of animal hair that they wear on their heads. All of these are protective elements for the shamans to protect and perform their rituals more easily during the spiritual journey. This study has been prepared on the examination of how the traditions of shaman culture are reflected in the field of textile and fashion. The patterns on the costumes, the materials used and the symbols were examined. Fashion trends have been studied. As a result of the examinations, inspired by all these elements, a collection of patterns and clothes was created.
