Organization systeming of industries to its infuluences of assembling settletments (Case study: Manisa Organize Sanayi Bölgesi)

In developing countries, rapid urbanization, physical and socio-economic problems generated by the urbanization process are gaining an increasingly complex character. In these countries, the focusing of industry in large cities is hindering the balanced economic development on the one side, and is leading to an urbanization which is not any further than a demographic expansion on the other side. Accordingly, the views concerning the balanced distribution of urbanization gained superiority among the other views, and it became clear that, this objective can only be achieved by decentralization of industry within the available framework of social, cultural and economic development of the city. The big development of the industry caused of to become the big boundaries. If the boundaries go through the limitation, it caused by basic principles of the planning strategies which is protection and put to use. This study attempts to pinpoint the physical, the social and the economic structures coming forth after the establishment of a nation- wide industry in a little isolated agrarian Anatolian city; to compare the findings on the country scale; and to locate the position of Manisa in the urbanization process of Turkey.
