Abstract (EN)
In this study, pure ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) filament and 1%, 2%, 3%, 5% CaCO3 nanoparticle added ABS filaments were produced. Sandwich panel cores in honeycomb geometry were produced with a double extruder 3D printer using filaments produced in different mixing ratios. Then, sandwich panel outer surfaces were produced from composite material by vacuum infusion method using carbon fiber fabric and epoxy. The produced core and composite outer surfaces were combined using structural adhesive and test specimens in the form of sandwich panels were obtained. Tensile test specimens, 3-point bending test specimens and compression test specimens were produced from the produced filaments. These samples were applied tensile test, 3-point bending test and compression test. The effects of nanoparticle additives on the strength properties of sandwich panels were investigated with the applied tests. In addition, numerical analysis was performed using the finite element method. The data obtained from the analysis and the results obtained from the experiments were compared. As a result of this study, it was observed that the CaCO3 additive ratio directly affects the strength. It has been observed that the CaCO3 additive added to ABS plastic up to the level of 3% increases the strength, while the material added after 3% decreases the strength due to the increase in brittleness.
