Abstract (EN)
In this study, Şânî whom we can't exactly determine in wichh century he lived, the translated writen text of his divan has been workedon, after that Şânî Divan has been analyzed in term of style, context, language and expression. Thus, we have found same clues on this literary personality. It is also understood from his poems that Şani is a mystic poet who studied at madrasah. Mystic features with human love are seen in his poems. The language that Şani used shows the characteristics of Old Anatolian Turkic with the Classical Ottoman Turkic which started to form in the period that he lived. With this study, Şânî and Şânî Divan, which has not been subject of any academic study previously, has been ardently analysed. Keywords: Şânî, Şânî Divan, divan poetry, divan
