Taxonomic and faunistic studies on the species of Paederinae and Xantholinini (Coleoptera:Staphylinidae) in Sarikamis forest

In this study, species belonging to the Paederinae subfamily and Xantholinini tribe of Sarıkamış Forests in the Sarıkamış district of Kars province of Eastern Anatolia were investigated between May 2016 and July 2017. As a result of the research, 20 species belong to 14 genus were identified. Except for the Lathrobium fulvipenne (Gravenhorst, 1806), Paederus littoralis (Gravenhorst, 1802) ve Xantholinus audrasi (Coiffait, 1956), 17 of all species are new records for Sarıkamış District. Besides the species Astenus bulgaricus (Coiffait, 1971) Astenus gracilis (Paykull, 1789) Astenus lyonessius (Joy, 1908 Astenus procerus (Gravenhorst, 1806) Pseudomedon dido (Saulcy, 1865) Lathrobium longulum (Koch, 1937) Leptacinus formicetorum (Märkel, 1841) and Leptacinus nigerrimus (Coiffait, 1971) for Eastern Anatolian Region, the species Achenium humile (Nicolai, 1822), Paederus littoralis (Gravenhorst, 1802), Paederus fuscipes (Curtis, 1826) Pseudomedon obsoletus (Nordmann, 1837) Sunius khnzoriani (Coiffait, 1970) Rugilus similis (Erichson, 1839) ve Gyrohypnus angustatus (Stephens, 1833) for Kars province are first record. The endemic species of Tetartopeus korgei (Assing, 2014) has been recorded for the first time since its first description.
