Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to investigate the aquaponics culture potential of carp, lavender and basil plants using two different (water and mollusc shell) plant medium. In the study, three 500 litre fish tanks were used and carp fry which had an initial average weight of 5 g were stocked as 0.826 g / m3. 12 flower pots with a volume of 90 Lt were used and the study was carried out with 3 replications for 60 days. At the end of the study, WG (%): 217.4, SGR: 1.96, F: 1.5, SR: 97.05% and FCR: 1.91 were determined for the fish. In the study, it was found that basil and lavender had more yield in the water bed and dry herbal yields were also higher. For each treatment group, NH4-N was found to be higher in the last weeks, with a maximum value of 0.79. The highest value for NO3 + NO2-N was observed at third sampling and the highest value was found to be 40.07. For PO4-P, the highest value was found to be 0.37 in the basil-shell group at the third sampling.
