Özet (EN)

Hot-rolled is the main method of steel production. Steel sections have a variety shapes and sizes, sections with simple shapes such as circles, squares or more complex sections such as iron beams, corners, and etc. that are all produced using the hot-rolled method. In the production of these products, the formation steps are divided between several pairs of different rollers, and in each of them, a part of the shape change is applied to the input material, which is done during a process called caliber design of hot-rolled rollers. In this research, the hot-rolled steel line of Shahin Bonab has been analyzed for the production of rebar size 20, so that first the forces acting on the caliber of hot-rolled rollers are obtained using experimental formulas and common theories, then analyzed by ABAQUS simulation software and the obtained results have been verified with real results from hot-rolled steel line of Shahin Bonab. As can be seen in the comparison between the results, it has been observed that there is less than 5% difference between the forces obtained from ABAQUS simulation and the forces applied on the production line.
