Abstract (EN)
In this study effects of different levels of zeolit (0, 2.0, 4.0 and 6.0 %) on growth performance, serum macro mineral contents, organ?s weight, skin and liver histology in rat (Spraque dawley) diets. The trial was arranged according to Randomized Plots Design with 4 group and three replicates. SPSS program (one way anowa) was used to compare statistical status and Duncan Test was used for determining significances of difference. In the trial, 10 weeks old, aproximately 306 ? 18.93 g live weight basis 48 male Spraque dawley rats were used. At the end of the research, except diameters of primary and secondary hair follicles (P < 0.05), there were no statistically significant differences between groups for investigated all parameters. In addition, skin and liver histology results shown that there were no differential appearances.Obtained results were changed from highest to lowest for final live weight 361.67 g in control ? 351.83 g in group IV, total live weight gain 53.00 g in control ? 45.92g in group IV, feed intake 1011.58 g in group III? 971.83 g in group IV, feed conversion ratio 21.56 in group III ? 18.70 in control, serum Ca, P, K, Mg, Na and Cl levels 10.70? 10.28 mg; 9.87 ? 8.48 mg; 6.25 ? 5.56 mg; 2.83 ? 2.62 mg; 144.74 mg? 143.93 mg; 103.73 mg-101.87 mg were changed respectively. Liver, kidney, heart and stomach weight and relative organ weights 11.95 ? 10.89 g; 3.31 ? 3.15%; 2.95 ? 2.73 g; 0.82? 0.79%; 1.31 ? 1.18 g; 0.37? 0.33%; 4.63 ? 3.66 g; 1.31 ? 1.05% were changed respectively. Diameters of primary hair follicles were 20.42 µm ? in group IV, 13.86 µm ? II, 13.75 µm ? III and 11.52 µm in control groups; for the diameters of secondary hair follicles; 102.12 µm ? in group IV, 69.30 µm ? in group II, 68.76 µm ? in group III and followed by control group 57.63 µm. Primary hair follicle numbers were; 2.33 ? in groups II and IV, 2.17 - III and 2.00 in control group: secondary hair follicle numbers were; 7.17 ? in group II, 6.17 ? IV, 6.00 ? III and 4.50 in control group.
