Abstract (EN)
Within the scope of the study, it is aimed to evaluate a selected stone wool production facility in Turkey in terms of occupational health and safety. For this purpose, on-site visits and detailed interviews were made with the technical personnel and occupational safety experts working in an enterprise of great commercial importance for our country. As a result of these examinations, the current risks, the measures taken/need to be taken, the personal protective equipment used, etc. aspects were evaluated. In addition, the production stages are discussed in detail in order to reveal the risks. As a result of the evaluations, it has been determined in which production stages/in which sections the biggest risk factors are in a rock wool production facility. The trainings given in the field of occupational health and safety at the facility were researched, and the application forms, frequency and effects of these trainings were discussed with the experts in the facility.
