Abstract (EN)

Peach is one of the fruit groups that are cultivated and have economic value. Plant tissue culture studies are a strong alternative for the propagation of valuable plants obtained as a result of hybridization studies. In the thesis study, the micropropagation performances of 10 hybrid peach genotypes under in vitro iron stress conditions were investigated. In addition, the effect of different nutrient media (MS - Murashige and Skoog Medium, ½ MS and WPM - Woody Plant Medium) on rooting was investigated. MS nutrient medium containing FeSO4.7H2O (100%=27.8 mg/l) at different concentrations (0, 25, 50 and 100%) was used in in vitro iron stress experiments. 1 mg/l BAP was added to the nutrient media. Micropropagation rate, plant height (cm) and number of leaves (number) data were evaluated as a result of in vitro iron stress. The most successful iron dose was determined as 25% in terms of plant height and micropropagation rate, and the most successful iron (Fe) dose was 50% in terms of leaf number. As a result of the stress experiment, chlorosis was observed intensely in the nutrient medium without Fe (0%), while better results were obtained in all other ratios. In root experiments, it was determined that the most successful medium on leaf number, root number and plant height was WPM, and the most successful medium on plant height was MS.
