Abstract (EN)

A Research on International Trade and Integration in Election Campaigns The essence and purpose of our thesis is to reach the reflections of political party preferences regarding alternative integration processes in political party programs, based on the historical development process of international trade theories and integration and political marketing concepts, since the uncertainty in question has been discussed quite intensely since the beginning of the 2000s, by examining whether the uncertainty that is thought to exist today about whether Turkey will continue with an Atlantic and EU-oriented integration process in the future or whether it will turn to another integration process, and if so, by examining these findings on the basis of foreign trade, integration and political marketing phenomena. The historical data on why and how and through which stages the economic activities of mankind, who was thought to have a ten thousand year history on earth until the 18th century when foreign trade theories first started to be the subject of scientific studies, were experienced, the historical development of the concept of sovereignty and the historical development of integration processes are intertwined processes, and the necessity of presenting the way the perception of sovereignty is addressed within historical processes is actually presenting the historical development of the perception of integration, and the necessity of addressing political life and its variables with a different terminology depending on social change, in the process of trying to be addressed with the political marketing approach led by marketers who are quite close to marketing science and capital groups, when the reflections of political party preferences on the political party programs of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), the Republican People's Party (CHP) and the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) are examined, It can be argued that the political party preferences on whether Turkey will continue with an Atlantic and EU-centric integration process in the coming period or turn to another integration process are reflected in the political party programs with a very limited, implicit and open-ended political rhetoric, and that a cautious, conventional Atlantic and EU-centric integration process is prioritized together with a developing Eurasian awareness in all three parties.
