The other voice of the urban: The music of the street

In this study consists of presenting street music, which is a voice of the city, in the place of urban soundscape and its relationship with the society in the form of documentary film. Cinéma Vérité style was used as a method during this film shooting. The purpose of using this style is to provoke the audiences in an intellectual way by presenting the social changes within the framework of an objective aspect of this film to audiences own intellectual-monitoring process. Thus, the audience will be able to make their own intellectual criticism about the situations that will be revealed in this documentry film. The concepts of street music and the questions of what is the practice of making music on the street will be discussed by expert, faculty members and street musicians, and the place and importance of street music in the urban area inside the community will be determined. By this way, the relationship between this style of representation on the street, which we have often passed by, and the society will be emphasized, and the invisible sides of this relationship will be tried to be revealed in this documentary film.
