Abstract (EN)

Selim Ileri (b. 1949 - …) is one of the main writers of modern Turkish Literature. In addition to creating works of various kinds, the objects of the past emphasize themselves in most of his texts. This orientation towards matter indicates what is hidden, protected, and what needs to be revealed. In this study, the concept of object in certain texts of Selim İleri; is approached by various disciplines such as literary, philosophical, sociology, anthropology and psychology. Thus, how meta is perceived by the characters in the work; the possible meanings of the dominance of matter and subject over each other will be tried to be shown. The main aim is to witness the discovery of the multiplicity of meanings, by exhibiting different approaches to it, in cases where it is not possible to define what it is and what it can express. For this reason, in the first chapter, the definition and examination of theoretical approaches and how they are interpreted by various thinkers will be examined; and the analyzes in the section are related to the objects mentioned in the texts; it will be in a special standing along with the second part's metas. The second part, that is related to the theoretical part; will be examined as a whole; will be on the commodities that have a prominent place in the works in question; possible interpretations of object orientations will be made. The situation to be analyzed by taking into account the spatial, ideological, individual and social relations of the commodity with the others, primarily with a focus on the text; then the focus will be on the reception of the author and the reader. As a result of this process, emphasizing that it represents the commodity, especially the past, based on the discourse of Forward; will be viewed in different contexts. In the conclusion part, by drawing attention to the uncertainty of the object; will be indicate that, it is only an idea; shall be deemed non-reproducible.
