Özet (EN)
In this study, the effect of Nitrogen (N) and Zinc (Zn) on the growth and yield parameters of the buckwheat plant was investigated. In recent scientific studies, it has been determined that nitrogen and Zn shows a synergistic relationship and lead to a significant increase in grain Zn concentration. Nitrogen nutrition has a decisive role on the protein concentration in plants and as a result of studies, it has been shown that Zn accumulation rate is increased in tissues with increased protein content. The relationship between nitrogen and Zn, dry matter yield, Zn and N concentration on shoot and grain was determined by applications as increasing doses of N (25, 50, 100, 200 and 400 mg N kg-1) and Zn (0, 1 and 5 mg Zn kg-1) on the "Güneş" buckwheat genotype, in greenhouse conditions. According to 25 mg N kg-1 application to soil, it was determined that 50, 100, 200 and 400 mg kg-1 N applications increased the dry matter yield of Güneş buckwheat genotype by 51%, 116%, 126% and 131% respectively. It was determined that increasing doses of Zn (1 and 5 mg Zn kg-1) increased the dry matter yield by 5.3% and 7.6%, respectively, compared to the application without Zn. The effect of Zn on plant yield became more pronounced as the level of N feeding of the plant increased. Similarly, it was observed that as Zn nutritional level of the plant improved, N applications had more effect on yield. These findings suggest that when Zn and N levels are optimized in the nutritional environment, increases in plant growth and yield may occur.
