Abstract (EN)

For the problems encountered in the engineering applications, the solution cannot be found directly. The problem can be divided into sub-problems that will attempt to find the solution more easily. Instead of the exact solution, an approximate solution which has an acceptable error level can be obtained. The aim of this study is to investigate the mechanical properties of full-ceramic coating materials as a multilayered system used in dental restorations, the changes in shape corresponding to different strains by the influence of the external forces in these materials, the mechanical properties such as the strength of the materials to these effects with finite element analysis method. In this study, IPS e-max Press as infrastructure ceramics and IPS e-max Ceram as coating ceramics which are widely used in the full-ceramic restorations in the dentistry are used. In the analysis, three different versions has been created according to servical region end shape and the thickness of the infrastructure ceramic for 6 different line shape which are used in the dental coating. Stress analysis has been made with finite element analysis. The reaction of the materials which are used for the first time in the dentistry according to the different cutting models to the stress-strain, stroke and other mechanical influences are investigated and the models which have highest strength for the system which is obtained by using these materials are determined.Thickness of ceramic coatings is associated with fatigue conditions of the system. The strength of infrastructure and superstructure ceramics and the mechanism of cracks at their surfaces are determined by investigating calculated stress-strain and Von Mises stress values. Keywords: Finite element analysis, multilayered systems, mechanical properties.
