Reflection of microworld images onto the ceramic tissue and its usage in ceramic moulding

Nature has been spontaneously composed without any intervention from mankind. The human being has been formed after the nature and has made new discoveries by following the vital gestures of the nature. Therefore we can say that the human life has been shaped with the nature. The never ending self-renewal of the nature evokes appreciation in the human being and at the point where art and science has reached, it is regarded as a model.The human being is confronted with various shapes from the moment the eyes are opened up to the world. These shapes each have their special tissue. These tissues have developed according to the vital functions of the object and it is clear that each tissue exists in order to carry out a definite role. Apart from this there are small objects (microorganisms) which can?t be seen with the eye. With the rapid advancement of science, these small objects have become apparent. Although art, nature and science are considered as opposing elements, art and science frequently take nature as a model and this aids in the development of an intensive relationship.In the first part of the thesis, the relation between art, nature and science are taken into consideration. The second part deals with the tissues which are seen with the naked eye. The third part focuses on the endless production opportunities the tissue of small objects which aren?t seen with the naked eye (microworld) present to the designer in the design and art works.
