Reflections of ceramic toys today

ABSTRACT Through archaeological studies, we can see many tools made of ceramics in the history of humanity. Throughout the ages, they have been indispensable objects of different areas of our lives sometimes as a storage container, sometimes as an object of prayer, and sometimes as toys. Ceramic products, which have a wide usage area, have taken their place in the world of children. In this process, a wide variety of toys are found, from toy cars made of ceramics, babies, whistles to marbles. With the industrial revolution that started in the second half of the 18th century and the developing technology, ceramic toys have been replaced with different materials as in other areas, and there has been a significant decrease in the construction of ceramic toys in this research, the history of ceramic toys in the process of decrease and the toys of different materials used instead of these toys have been mentioned.
