Abstract (EN)

In this study, the development of art from the traditional application methods to the digital era, the interaction of different art branches with the changing art perception of the digital age and the contribution of art to the digital world in the recent history are discussed. In the first part of the study, the relation between mosaic art which is one of the traditional painting techniques and still used today and photography as an imaging technique is discussed. The way in which photography is incorporated into Modern art in the ongoing process and the relationship between photography-painting in the process of creating an image are examined. In the second part, the new world, which has come together with digital imaging techniques, has been interpreted and examined in terms of the different perspectives that the artist gained in the triangle of entertainment, art and design which has become an industry. In the third part, the concept of pixelation in memory, which is inspired by video games, is discussed and interpreted with clay, which is a material. Applications are made with mold system and free forming. In the master thesis prepared under the title of "Pixelation Applications in Ceramic Design", the effects of art and technology in today's world have been examined and its relationship with ceramic materials been evaluated.
