Mobile applications developed for the insurance sector are mostly intended for filing a claim when damage is occurred or for receiving a proposal. There are few, if any, insurance sales over mobile applications. This study explains the insurance sales over mobile applications and focuses on how to accelerate the insurance sales over OCR by adapting a different perspective. For this purpose, the insurance business, OCR technology, the concept of mobile, mobile operating systems and mobile application development process have been examined. After this examining process, the technologies used to develop Windows 10 Mobile application were explained, which were followed by the introduction of the mobile application developed for accelerating the sales of travel health insurance by OCR. Finally, in the conclusion and suggestions part, the findings obtained under the scope of the thesis and the suggestions have been provided.
