A review of Seyid Huseyin's stories

daha sonra doldurulacIn our study, which begins by providing general information about the history of Azerbaijani literature, we have focused on the short story genre and made explanations based on the data obtained. First, we discussed the general characteristics of the short story genre. Then, we examined the development trajectory of the modern short story in world literature, Turkish literature, and Azerbaijani literature. Additionally, the main representatives of the short story genre were outlined. Before moving on to analyze the short stories of Seyid Hüseyin, who is at the core of our study, information about his life and artistic personality was provided. After listing Seyid Hüseyin's works, the criteria for analyzing the stories were established. Subsequently, Seyid Hüseyin's stories, who is one of the significant representatives of the short story genre in Azerbaijani literature, were examined within the framework of these predetermined criteria. The aim of our study is to evaluate Seyid Hüseyin's stories from a literary and scientific perspective and to determine the contributions of these narratives, which were subjected to examination and analysis, to the modernization of Azerbaijani storytelling and their impact on Azerbaijani society in terms of catching up with the times. In this context, Seyid Hüseyin's stories were analyzed in terms of traditional narrative forms and techniques, and the social messages and ethical values contained in the stories were examined. Seyid Hüseyin's stories are important literary texts that reflect the social, cultural, and moral values of the Azerbaijani Turkish people of the time in which they were written. In the thesis, Seyid Hüseyin's stories were addressed based on the narrative's point of view, narrative techniques, plot, characters, setting, time, theme, language, and stylistic features. The stories were evaluated using the text analysis method. As a result of the research, it was determined that Seyid Hüseyin's stories hold a significant place in the historical and cultural memory of the Azerbaijani people and play a crucial role in shaping social identity and in the modernization of the people. This thesis aims to be a scientific resource for researchers and readers who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the richness and depth of the short story genre in Azerbaijani literature. aktır
