Abstract (EN)
This study handles the issue of Imamate and Mahdeviyyah in Shia, in comparison with the belief of Farr-i Izadi and Saoshyant in Zoroastrianism, and the possibility of being affected by each other is discussed. Additionally, it examines the concept of Farr and Saoshyant in Zoroastrianism from original sources such as Avestâ. Then, it discusses beliefs such as Imamate and Mahdeviyyah in Shia in regard to the classical and reliable works of the sect. The first chapter studies Farr-i in all aspects. The second chapter establishes similar aspects of light, Ismah, and Welayah in Shia by emphasizing these concepts with the belief of Farr-i Izadi. The third chapter of the study inquires the belief in a savior in terms of the Zoroastrian-Shi'ite interactive. As a result, this study concludes that the two main elements of the Shia belief which are Imamate and Mahdeviyyah, have considerable similar aspects between the Farr-i Izadi and Saoshyant doctrines in Zoroastrianism.
