The method of istishhad with verses in Sîbeveyh's work named el-Kitâb and its effect on the field of kirâat

In this study, the verses and the method of istishhad and his views on recitation in Sîbeveyh's (d. 180/796) book named al-Kitâb are discussed. In the introduction part of the study, which consists of introduction, conclusion and four main parts, the subject, purpose, method and sources of the research are emphasized. In the first part, concise information about Sîbeveyh's life and scientific personality is given. In this direction, the tabakat books dealing with the life of Sîbeveyh and the studies related to him were used. In the second part, topics such as Sîbeveyh's sources, the definition of istişhâd, the verses and recitations of Sîbeveyh and the method of istişhâd are discussed. In the third chapter, syntax and usage issues are discussed and Sîbeveyh's views in this direction are evaluated comparatively with other scholars and finally the preferred view is explained. The fourth chapter consists of conclusions and recommendations. In the study, he revealed the rules of language by giving examples of the Qur'an and Qur'anic recitations, based on the original aspect of Sîbeveyh's Arabic language (poetry, example/emsile, etc.). However, when a rule belonging to the original language is not included in the Qur'an and recitations, he stated that they should be followed with the words "The Qur'an and the recitations are the sources that should be followed".
