Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the yield and yield components of 7 different triticale cultivars in Siirt ecological conditions in 2014-2015 growing season. The study was conducted in a split plot experimental design with three replications. In the study, plant height, spike length, spike count per square meter, spikelet count, seed weight per spike, biological yield, seed count per spike, 1000 seed weight, seed yield, hectoliter weight, and comparison in terms of phosphorus and protein values per seed were investigated. According to the results, statistically significant differences were observed between triticale types in properties analyzed. In the study grain yield changed between 171 – 461 kg/daa, grain with most yield was found to be 461 kg/daa with Tatlıcak-97 and lowest, 171 kg/da with Mikham-2001. Looking to the taken results, Tatlıcak-97 triticale could be considered a hopeful triticale cultivar for the area.
