Özet (EN)
The Siirt region is located in the 1st earthquake zone. There are buildings that have completed the economic life in the area and are not in compliance with existing regulations. It is also important to include buildings that are defective in terms of materials and workmanship and that can lead to loss of life and property in a possible earthquake. Within the scope of the thesis, 5 reinforced concrete buildings within the scope of urban transformation were evaluated. In this context, Risky Building Detection Regulation (RBTE 2013) and Turkey Earthquake Regulations (TDY 2007) is considered. It should not be overlooked that the necessity of urban transformation and, at the same time, some structures not covered by urban transformation may suffer from a possible earthquake. The data obtained about urban transformations actually show how serious it is
