Abstract (EN)
The aim of this research is to develop and evaluate animation on symmetry in the 8th grade mathematics course. The study group of the research is composed of 22 8th grade students who are studying in a school affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Rize and 9 teachers who are working in the Rize province. In the study, mathematics achievement test and structured interview questions were used as data collection tools. Student achievement was assessed using t - test. The structured interview forms made to the students are organized by codes and separated by content analysis. Teachers' opinions were taken. Teachers' opinions are directly addressed. According to the results of the research, it was seen that the mathematical success of the students who worked with the animations prepared for symmetry differed significantly. Teacher and student views are positive.
